shades of grey

I tried! I tried so so hard not to write a post about ’50 Shades Of Grey’. I tried so hard. But I just can’t do it. There is this urge in me to get it all out. Just so you know, I have not read the book, nor will I ever read it. And I will for sure not watch the movie. I am actually really surprised and upset that this story has such a huge success and I am so so happy for the author. I truly am. Blogging101 about my blog: Title and Tagline

DIfilm’ is de title of my blog but is also the name under which I publish my videos, videostills and photos. (You can watch them on VIMEO: https://vimeo.com/difilm)

‘candid camera – soften candy – often cruel – everytime reality’ is the tagline. It is how the poet Paul Saccasyn described me when he saw my videos.

Yet, these barriers are there precisely because we have been hurt. They’re not there from birth, we weren’t born with it. No. They’ve been created, build brick by brick, from life and because of life and our fellow humans. People cross our boundaries every day in obvious ways, and in subtle ways. We do the same to others, forgiveable if unintentional, less so, if done repeatedly, and without thought.
